Instructional Materials in 9-12 Mathematics
In December 2018 and January 2019, the district convened a cohort of 43 Mathematics teachers and school leaders to conduct an instructional materials evaluation using the IMET (Instructional Materials Evaluation Tool) of current instructional products in grades 9-12. The curriculum adoption committee evaluated 13 curricula in total, and through the IMET, CPM Educational Program emerged as the certified front-runner towards a recommendation for District adoption. Our Board of Education approved the committee's recommendation on Friday, January 11, 2019.
