Partnership Agreements
-
Detroit Public Schools Community District is generously supported by a diverse range of strategic partners. Our partners are comprised of companies, organizations, and individuals who are committed to the success of our students and District. We invite you to partner with us by providing support for special programs, in-kind services, and targeted resources that contribute to the enhancement of the educational environment and academic achievement of our students.
Use the tools below to find information about our existing partnerships. The map allows you to see all of our current partners and which schools they serve, while the locator is designed to connect familes directly with support services provided through District agreements.
***Thank you to all of the partner organizations that attended our quarterly meeting on November 3. You can find the slide deck from that meeting here.***

Interested in creating a new partnership?
All District partners must sign an official agreement with the District, and creating an agreement has never been easier! Check out our Easy Start Checklist, which walks you through the entire process. When you are ready, the online application is below.
Looking for the answer to a specific question? Check out these helpful links:
- What kind of agreement does my organization need?
- What sort of background check(s) will be required? Are the requirements the same for student teachers and other pre-service learners?
- Can I request to use a school building? If so, whom should I contact?
- How should I handle consent forms for my programming?
-
Questions about renewing or amending your existing agreement?
The Partnerships Office was excited to launch a brand-new evaluation and renewal process in the spring of 2021. You can learn more about it from this document.
If you have an amendment to request, please complete this form so that we can process it expeditiously. (Please note that you need not complete this survey if you requested an amendment through the evaluation and renewal process earlier this spring.)

Ready to Reopen!
We are so excited to welcome most of our partners back face-to-face this fall, but we know that virtual engagement will still need to happen in some situations. We are closely monitoring CDC guidelines around pandemic safety (especially given the prevalence of the Delta variant) and are asking partners to adhere to these reopening requirements during the 2021-2022 academic year. Links to essential resources appear in the guidance document, but they are also included below for your convenience.
- Reopening Plan Template (must be submitted by ALL partners working face-to-face using this link)
- Virtual Programming Amendment (must be submitted by partners not on this list using this link)
- Partner affiliates can complete their COVID-19 tests at community testing partners like these
