We serve the District by ensuring our employees continue to use integrity and put students first when providing service, in accordance with District standards. We help to promote a positive work environment through our efforts to prevent and resolve issues that arise between employees, and between employees and management. Employee Relations investigates and addresses allegations of employee misconduct, policy noncompliance and employee civil rights violations. We oversee the District's employee discipline process, and provide training throughout the District on workplace conduct and best practices. We are responsible for the following bodies of work:

- Administrative Leave
- Employee Disclosures Process
- Administrator Non-Renewal Process
- Employee Civil Rights Complaint Investigations and Compliance Training
- Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Michigan Department of Civil Rights Charge Response Process
