Office of Employee Relations

  • The Office of Employee Relations serves the District by ensuring our employees continue to use integrity and put students first when providing service.  We promote safety and respect in the workplace for all staff members.  The Office of Employee Relations investigates and resolves a variety of claims and complaints by and regarding employees, including issues related to policy, compliance, and employee conduct.  We are responsible for the following bodies of work:

    • Employee Misconduct and Corrective Discipline
    • Administrative Leave
    • Personnel Security Action Committee Process (PSAC)
    • Employee Disclosures Process
    • District Non-Renewal Process
    • Employee Civil Rights Complaints
    • Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Michigan Department of Civil Rights Charge Response Process
