Research, Evaluation & Analytics Division
-
The Research & Evaluation (R&E) Division’s core responsibility is to ask and answer questions about our progress to help the District assess where we’ve been and to anticipate where we need to go next. The R&E team utilizes program evaluation, research partnerships, and a programmatic knowledge base to identify and highlight what works to support student achievement. The R&E team analyzes and reports on our district’s progress toward achieving our strategic plan’s priorities and promotes a research culture focused on critical problem-solving and informing local innovation with cutting-edge national and international best practice findings.
DPSCD Open Data Archive is a part of this division and is a part of the effort to increase transparency and community engagement with our educational support and improvement efforts as a district. All datasets currently available on this site are sourced directly from the Michigan Department of Education's MI School Data website.
This division also welcomes external research proposals with the potential for advancing knowledge or improving practice within the district to help produce tangible improvements for our students, schools, or the community. You can learn more about conducting research in DPSCD.
