• Lactation Room Available – Fisher Building Central Office Employees

    In accordance with federal law, including the PUMP for Nursing Mothers Act (under the Fair Labor Standards Act) and the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA), and as part of our continued commitment to support nursing mothers, we want to remind and inform employees there is a designated lactation room available in the Fisher Building to support nursing employees who need a private space to express breast milk during the workday.

    Location: HR Benefits and Employee Health Services, Fisher Building, 10th Floor, Suite 1005

    Availability: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

    Purpose:

    The lactation room provides a private, clean, and secure space for nursing employees to express breast milk. The room includes:

    • Seating
    • A flat surface
    • Electrical outlet
    • Access to refrigeration in your designated department area (e.g., breakroom) Employees are responsible for bringing their own cooler and/or storage containers for expressed milk.
    • Sink nearby (e.g., HR kitchen area or HR bathroom sinks).

    Access:

    The room remains locked for privacy, employees should visit Employee Health Services (EHS) located on the 10th Floor of the Fisher to access to the room.
