• Online Learning Daily Schedules

Families can access and print their student’s schedules and teacher assignments by logging into the PowerSchool Parent Portal.

Students will receive instruction daily in literacy/reading, social emotional learning, mathematics, science, social studies and weekly in art or music, and physical education.  The student school day will align to the bell schedule of the School.  Students will have scheduled live instruction throughout the day with their teacher(s) and will complete work in between with access to their teacher(s).  Teachers will post consistent daily/weekly schedules in Schoology and any change of schedule which requires students to be online at a different time will be communicated at least 10 calendar days in advance of the change to students and families. Students will have ~5-6 minutes of pass/transition time between subjects/courses each day.

Please find the District recommended daily schedules by grade bands linked here:

Your school will provide your student’s specific daily schedule.  Students will be offered live daily instruction at the top of each subject/course each day.  Please keep in mind that the number of minutes reflected in the schedule does not equate to a consistent number of minutes of screen time.

The school day is 6 hours and 10 minutes long, but within that, students have a mixture of live, on the computer time and self-paced work.  The District is issuing physical instructional materials for students to use to also support a reduction in screentime.  An example of this is the novels students will be issued and the ability to read text off of the computer.

Teachers will be differentiating instruction, providing self-paced assignments, conducting whole and small group discussions, and using a variety of other instructional practices during the full block.  Students should expect to spend time each day in both live instruction and in completing assignments independently or in small groups.
