Occupational Therapy
Provide skilled intervention according to the IEP (Individual Educational Plan) and IFSP (Individual Family Service Plan), assistance with wheelchair (measurements, vendor repairs), direct/consultative treatment sessions, evaluation for service, assistance with sensory related issues in the classroom environment, assistance with needed student supplies related to disability (Hi-low table, adaptive equipment, specialized seating), assist with strategies for behavior and attending skills, handwriting/keyboarding strategies, assistance with various aspects of work skills or work related tasks, strategies to assist in the academic environment, provide professional development/in-service training to staff on safety techniques (lifting, feeding, self-care related task, hoyer-lift) and what is Occupational Therapy, collaborate with various team members in regards to student progress.
Physical Therapy
Provide skilled intervention according to the IEP (Individual Educational Plan) and IFSP (Individual Family Service Plan), assistance with wheelchair (measurements, vendor repairs), direct/consultative treatment sessions, evaluation for service, assistance with gross motor related issues in the classroom environment, assistance with needed student supplies related to disability (adaptive equipment, specialized seating), assistance with various aspects of work skills or work related tasks (endurance/strength), strategies to assist in the academic environment, provide professional development/in-service training to staff on safety techniques (lifting, transfers, safe toileting, hoyer-lift) and what is Physical Therapy, collaborate with various team members in regards to student progress.
