The Detroit Public Schools Community District (DPSCD) Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) is dedicated to empowering parents, guardians, and grandparents of students with active Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Our mission is to provide families with the knowledge and tools necessary to actively participate in the special education process, understand the delivery of services, and engage with school funding decisions.
PAC members collaborate with key stakeholders to offer informed recommendations and decisions related to compliance, parent and community engagement, and ongoing issues in special education.
Meetings are held virtually on the 2nd Wednesday of the month, unless otherwise noted.
