The Detroit Public Schools Community District Police Department (DPSCD-PD) Community Relations Unit is an innovative and proactive division that represents the police department and the Chief of Police to establish, build, and sustain stronger relationships between law enforcement, students, staff, administrators, and the community.
The Community Relations Unit focuses on community engagement, transparency, and breaking the law enforcement stigma associated with violence and racism in today's climate.
