Warehouse Service Guidelines

To request Warehouse services, the Warehouse Services Request Form must be completed at least two weeks prior to the expected service request. Warehouse staff will provide confirmation before services are rendered. The Warehouse Services Request Form is located on the Operations SharePoint HUB page.
Logistic Services
Pick-Up and Delivery
- Pick-up and delivery requests are submitted via the Operations HUB page
- The requester will receive a confirmation email from Warehouse staff within 48 hours of submission
- Upon review of the request, Warehouse staff will confirm the pick-up or delivery date
- An on-site assessment may be required for pick-up requests
Surplus Furniture, Books, and Bulk Supplies
- Items for pick-up must be identified and a photo must be provided
- Note: Only items listed on the request form will be picked up
- The requester will receive a confirmation email from Warehouse staff within 48 hours of submission
- All items must be staged by a first floor exit
- File cabinets and desks must be empty
Courier Services
Mail for Central Office is picked up daily. Mail for schools is picked up twice weekly by zones. School zones and calendar can be found under Warehouse Resources
Bulk Mail
- Envelopes must have the District's Indicia and must be sealed and ready for delivery, if not, mail will be returned to the school or department
- All bulk mail must be the same (weight & size). Bulk Mail is considered 200 or more
Metered Mail (mail without the Indicia envelopes)
- Single mail such as reports, report cards, typically comes from schools
- Must be sealed and addressed properly, if not, mail will be returned to the school or department
Inter Office Mail
- Warehouse delivers mail between District offices and schools, This is done by leaving the mail in a special box to be picked up on a scheduled day
- View the calendar and school zones list under Warehouse Resources for scheduled pick up days
- Mail must be sealed and labeled with the location for delivery
Vendor Delivery to Warehouse
- Only available if the product(s) cannot be directly shipped to the school building(s). The anticipated delivery date to the Warehouse must be included on the Warehouse Services Request form
- Submit requests via the Operations HUB page. The requester will receive a confirmation email from Warehouse staff within 48 hours of submission
- Plan to provide the following in your request:
- A copy of the purchase order or invoice
- Expected pick-up date or delivery to the Warehouse
- Storage duration in the Warehouse
- Expected delivery from the Warehouse to the new location
