Exam High School Application Assistance

Detroit Public Schools Community District offers a range of support for families who need assistance completing the examination high school application.
Our offerings include in-person and virtual support via 1:1 phone/video appointments, webinars and school open houses. Please review the options carefully.

Phone and Video Application Assistance
Make a 15-minute or 30-minute appointment to receive one-on-one assistance with your application.
Trained support team members will be available via phone or Microsoft Teams video conference. Sessions will begin on Tuesday October 21 and continue through Friday November 14.
Appointments must be made at least 1 business day in advance.2025-26 Support Schedule

In-Person Application Assistance
Make a 30-minute appointment to receive one-on-one assistance with your application. Participants will have access to a computer and printer/scanner so they can complete the application on-site. Two guests per party, please, capacity will be limited. Make an appointment here. Walk-ins are welcome.

Transcript Request Forms
Download the following documents and submit them to your current and/or former school to request the academic records required for your application.
The forms may be used by out-of-district students or current District students who have attended another school district (charter or private) at some point during the last two academic years.
Submit the forms as early as possible to give your school time to process the request.
Current District students who have been enrolled for the last two years do not need to submit transcripts with their applications.
