Government & Community Affairs GCA & Detroit Change Initiative (DCI) Partner Lobby Day Prep Presentation – April 23, 2025

The Government and Community Affairs (GCA) team, in partnership with the Detroit Change Initiative (DCI), hosted an informative presentation for students at Mumford HS about the upcoming field trip to Lansing, MI for DPSCD’s annual Lobby Day on April 29, 2025. The students of Mumford HS learned what to expect during this impactful experience, including how students will engage with state legislators, tour the Capitol, and use their voices to advocate for public education. This presentation is designed to prepare Mumford HS students for a meaningful and empowering day of civic engagement on April 29th for Lobby Day. Also attached is an image from today’s presentation.
