Capital Improvements Projects - Abatement at Henderson, Bates and Mann

1. The Detroit Public Schools Community District is seeking proposals to abate, transport, and dispose of all specified asbestos containing materials at Henderson Upper Academy, Mann Elementary School, and Bates Academy.

2. There will be a Mandatory Pre-Proposal conference for this solicitation on September 9, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. This conference will be take place virtually and can be viewed using the following link:

3. There will also be Pre-Proposal walk-throughs at each site. Walk throughs will start at 3:00 pm on September 13, 2022 at Erma Henderson Academy at located at 16101 W Chicago, Detroit, MI 48228. The walk through will continue to Mann Elementary School and end at Bates Academy.

4. The due date for Proposals is September 28, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. Late proposals will not be accepted.

5. A virtual Public Opening will occur at 12:00 PM on September 28, 2022.

All bids must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the submitting company and any employee of DPSCD. DPSCD shall not accept a bid that does not include this sworn and notarized disclosure statement.
