Check Out Five Things You Need to Know This Week!
The Family Hub is Updated and Live!
Dr. Vitti announced the benefits, in case you missed it.
We cannot wait to see your students on Monday, August 29th. As we prepare for a new school year, we have improved the Parents page on Detroitk12.org, the direct link is detroitk12.org/families, to provide you with one-stop access to your student’s academic performance, including grades and attendance, and District announcements. This portal for information will include:
- At-a-glance access for you to be able to understand your child’s current academic standing, past performance, and attendance
- Access to scholarship information, IEP guidance, student records and transcripts
- A Parent Toolbox for quick access to the tools and resources that will help both the parent/guardian and their students to be successful
- Resources to support the health and wellness of the whole family
- Information on getting involved with the PTA, legislation, and in-school activities
- Easier access to the forms you need to complete
- Technology guides and how-to videos placed together under one heading
We would love to hear from you! Take the survey at the bottom of any page in the space to let us know if we have missed anything and how this portal can better meet your needs. This is just the first of many steps towards improving the site for you.
Thank you,
Nikolai P. Vitti, Ed.D.
Superintendent
