Getting to High SchoolsThe District provides safe, efficient, and timely transportation services for families weekly to ensure students are ready to learn. Students in grades 9-12 are able to receive a 31-day DDOT pass each month from the office at their home school. Students can use this pass to ride DDOT free of charge but must show their DPSCD student-issued ID to the bus operator.
Parents of students with an IEP may contact the Exceptional Student Education Department's enrollment office at 313-748-6363 regarding transportation-related IEP concerns.

Meals at SchoolDPSCD provides all students with free breakfast and lunch meals. Some schools also serve after-school suppers (for schools with supper school contracts), and summer meals. For questions about general meal information, please email Kevin Frank at kevin.frank@detroitk12.org. For questions about after-school supper meals, please email Yuwana Trice at yuwana.trice@detroitk12.org.
Access your Child's AccountThe District has updated the format of student passwords to provide safe, secure access to online learning tools and devices for our staff and students. Your student’s unique username (studentnumber@thedps.org) has not changed. If your student forgets or loses his or her password, it can be recovered or reset by contacting the school directly.
