Good Afternoon DPSCD Families and Students,

This is an important message from Supt. Nikolai Vitti regarding the post-holiday break return. Due to the city's all-time high rate of infection at 36 percent, there will be no in-person or online learning (including the virtual school) Monday, January 3rd through Wednesday, January 5th. On Wednesday, Jan. 5th, please check your email box and the website for an important announcement and additional directions for Thursday, Jan. 6th and Friday, Jan. 7th. Please see the full message in your email box or by visiting detroitk12.org, to learn about the important testing recommendations and instructions for student-athletes. There will be 10 COVID testing sites open starting Monday, all employees will be required to test either Monday or Tuesday, we are also strongly encouraging all students to be tested. In addition, the Renaissance site will also be open, but appointments are necessary for this site only. Please see the website announcement to make an appointment. The student test consent form can also be found in the announcement. Please stay safe, remain vigilant and have a Happy New Year!
