The Technicians finished at 398 on the day. Brownstown Woodhaven won the championship with a score of 350. Royal Oak placed third with a score of 406. All three teams advance to the MHSAA Division 1 Finals on Friday-Saturday, Oct. 20-21 at Forest Akers West at Michigan State University.

Junior Sydney Evans shot 91 to lead Cass, placing fifth overall. Sophomore Sienna Hawkins finished at 98. Senior Kalista Bennett shot 104, while senior Kennedy Watts finished at 105 and junior Nyla Joseph shot 113.

Farmington senior Venetia Chap was a medalist at 72.

According to Cass head coach Martin Siml, the school's girls golf team was reformed three years ago, after years of not fielding a team. Watts qualified as an individual for the finals that year. She also qualified as an individual for the MHSAA finals two years ago.
