Spring Break Resources for DPSCD Students, Families and Staff March 27-March 31
As you prepare to enjoy your Spring Break from school, the week of March 27, 2023-March 31, 2023, use this guide to access resources ranging from immunization and vaccination clinics, mental health resources and much more! Also, be sure to access Peachjar, our digital flyer bulletin board for information on activities, events, services, and opportunities throughout the District and in the community.

Vaccinations and Immunizations for the Community
In partnership with the Detroit Health Department (DHD), DPSCD families can continue to make immunization and vaccination appointments during the District’s Spring Break (March 27-March 31). Please note, DHD has moved all its COVID-19 operations to its 100 Mack Avenue location. Please visit https://detroitmi.gov/departments/detroit-health-department for more information, including details on booking booster and pediatric vaccination appointments as well as COVID-19 testing appointments. DPSCD Staff and Student COVID-19 Testing at Renaissance High School and East English Village Preparatory Academy @Finney
DPSCD staff and students can continue to get COVID-19 testing from LynxDx at two school locations: Renaissance High School (6565 W. Outer Drive, Detroit, 48235) and East English Village Preparatory Academy @Finney (5020 Cadieux Rd. in Detroit, 48224). During Spring Break week (March 27-March 31), the Renaissance and EEVP@Finney sites will have the following operating hours:
- OPEN: Monday, March 27, 2023- 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
- OPEN: Friday, March 31, 2023- 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
- OPEN: Saturday, April 1, 2023- 8 a.m.-12 p.m.
Upon the resumption of school on Monday, April 3, 2023, the sites will be open for normal hours of operation from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. However, due to Easter weekend, both locations will be closed on Friday, April 7, 2023, and on Saturday, April 8, 2023. Starting the week of April 10, 2023, the sites will have normal hours of operation from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday to Friday and Saturday’s, 8 a.m.-12 p.m.
Behavioral Health Support During DPSCD’s Spring Break (March 27-March 31)
Supporting the Whole Child is one of DPSCD’s Priorities. In conjunction with Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network (DWIHN), students, families and the community at large will have access to behavioral health resources while DPSCD is on Spring Break (March 27-March 31):
