Mom Revels in Choice of DPSCD Summer Learning Experiences

For Tracy Fergerson, the mother of DPSCD student Serenity Fergerson, DPSCD’s Summer Learning Experiences 2021 helped her daughter to stay smart by being in school last summer as well as providing fun, safe outlets for play, exploration, and artistic expression.

“The teachers were nice and so was the principal,” said Tracy, reflecting on Serenity’s experience last summer, when she was in kindergarten at Edmonson Elementary. “Serenity took part in art as well as the after-school enrichment activities," Tracy recalled, noting that Serenity “really enjoyed” being in DPSCD’s Summer Learning Experiences in 2021. And that’s why Tracy decided to enroll Serenity again for Summer Learning Experiences 2022, which runs from July 11-August 4, 2022.

Staying Smart while Staying Cool

By registering your child, as Tracy did, for DPSCD’s comprehensive summer learning programming and activities, your student will get ample opportunities to stay smart this summer. How so?
