"Attend to Win" Contest Grand Prize Winners Announced!
CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR COMMITMENT TO ATTENDING SCHOOL EVERY DAY!
TOP 10 Grand prize winners - march 12, 2021
To promote attendance and increase student engagement, Detroit Public Schools Community District launched its "Attend to Win" contest to improve daily attendance. We know every school day counts, so we challenged students to be in school on Count Day and beyond. For students who committed to perfect attendance through March 2, 2021, they received additional entries to win the Grand Prize - either an Xbox X or PlayStation 5. All student entries were compiled together, and a randomized digital drawing kicked out the following students as winners!

Each School's principal and student have been informed of winning a grand prize. DPSCD began the quest to obtain video game consoles before the contest started. Manufacturers and retailers have been selling limited quantities making it difficult to buy video game consoles. DPSCD has obtained a few consoles so far and will deliver current inventory to each student based on the randomized order listed above. Upon DPSCD receiving the remaining video game consoles, DPSCD will immediately deliver to each student to make sure all 10 students have received their prize.
