The USDA and MDE recently announced allowable provisions to serve students breakfast and lunch using the same distribution model as the spring and summer.
The following meal services will now be offered through December 31, 2020:
Face to Face Students
Breakfast on the Go will be served to each student after clearing screening at building entrances. Students will eat breakfast in the classroom.
Students will receive lunch from a designated area in the school. Lunch will be eaten in cafeterias during multiple lunch periods to promote social distancing.
Learning Center Students
Breakfast on the Go will be served to each student after clearing screening at building entrances. Students will eat breakfast in assigned rooms.
Students will receive and eat lunch in designated areas in the school.
Grab and Go breakfast and lunch meals are now available for online students every Monday and Thursday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at every school.
