Before You Apply
- Formal Letter of Student Interest
- Email address of the person from whom you are seeking a reference/recommendation
- Transcript that clearly shows the student's cumulative grade point average
- Student must select a test date when they apply, however, current District 8th graders will be tested in school in January 2019.
Formal Letter of Student Interest
Applicants are required to submit a formal Letter of Student Interest wherein the student expresses the multiple reasons why they should be considered for admissions to their school/s of choice.
The letter should be authored by the student and should not exceed 500 words.
The letter must be typed in Times New Roman font, double spaced, 12-point font size.
The letter will be considered the student's official writing sample.
Transcripts can be uploaded to the Examination High School Application. The student's transcript or report card that clearly shows the student's most recent cumulative GPA. Transcripts should be from no earlier than the second semester of the 2017-18 school year.
Student will enter their recommenders' email into the recommendation field on the application. The recommenders will receive an email from Submittable and follow the instrutions. Applicants' relatives may not serve as references.
