Student Passwords
Get Your Child’s Username and Password

All DPSCD students have a unique username and password to access Clever. The password consists of a combination of the student’s name, birthday, and gender.
Example: If Aretha Franklin is a DPSCD student with a student ID of 018765 and her birthday is March 25, 1998, her username would be 018765@thedps.org and her password would be Af039802.

DPSCD students have several online learning tools available to help them succeed in and out of the classroom. Most of these tools can be accessed through Clever, which is the platform students use to access learning applications like i-Ready, MyOn, and Teams. The District’s preferred browser for accessing Clever is Chrome, which can be downloaded to your computer, smartphone, or tablet for free at www.google.com/chrome.

IQWST
IQWST is a comprehensive, 12-unit middle school science curriculum designed to cover four content strands—physics, chemistry, life science, and Earth science. IQWST was developed over a decade by science education, literacy, and learning science specialists from the University of Michigan, Northwestern University, Michigan State University, and the Weizmann Institute of Science, supported by funding from the National Science Foundation. Students investigate questions relevant to their lives by conducting investigations , collecting and analyzing data , developing and using models to explain phenomena, and engaging in argument from evidence, all in a literacy and discourse-rich environment.

Collabrify Roadmaps
Collabrify is a suite of tools created by the University of Michigan’s Center for Digital Curricula that supports 1:1 classrooms and collaborative learning. The Collabrify Roadmap platform, in particular, allows science teachers to create, tweak, or differentiate deeply digital lessons using OERs. These lessons take the form of a “roadmap” that students can follow in their web browsers and engage with resources at their own pace.
