Dear Roberto Clemente Parents,
As we all know, the coronavirus pandemic has affected each of our families and our world differently. We are still surviving and all adjusting to a "new normal," where we each must continue doing our part to ensure our own safety and the safety of others. This school year with all students coming back to our building, will be filled with new experiences and protocols, however we will learn through them together. As your leader, I pledge to continue doing my part to keep our school and students as safe as possible, and so I ask the same from your children.
During the 2022-2023 school year of recovery, we remain committed in our building to have “A Shared Vision for Improvement” and remaining as one of the top schools in our district. I trust that all our teachers have the drive, dedication, and professionalism to work together as a team and deliver an exceptional in-person education to our Clemente students. As a team, with a collective vision, collaboration, positive attitude, and ambitious goals we will ensure the best for your children. They deserve to have a safe environment full of respect, along with the same excellent academic opportunities that will leave memorable experiences.
With your support we can ensure that Roberto Clemente Learning Academy will continue to be a Center of Excellence in education, and that will continue be respected and recognized by the central office and our community. I look forward to working with all of you to have the best, most productive school year. Please approach me or Mrs. Berrocal with any questions, we are here to support you and your families. Please stay strong and we will get through this together!
Sincerely,
Maria Hernandez-Martinez
