Carmen Abraham has been a dedicated member of the Roberto Clemente School community since 2013. With over a decade of experience in elementary education, Carmen joined our school's leadership team in 2024 as Assistant Principal, bringing her deep commitment to fostering academic excellence and a positive school culture.

Carmen began her career as a Pre-K teacher, where she excelled in creating engaging and inclusive learning environments. Her expertise in early childhood education, combined with her ability to connect with diverse student populations made her an invaluable asset to our educational community.  Over the years, Carmen has developed a deep passion for curriculum development and implementation, data-driven decision-making, teacher mentoring, and always striving to inspire all to achieve their full potential.

Carmen earned multiple degrees from Wayne State University and continues to be an advocate for lifelong learning. As a mother of three, she brings a unique perspective to her role, understanding the critical role that families play in the educational journey. She is committed to maintaining strong school-community relationships and ensuring that every student feels supported and empowered within the school environment.

She is thrilled to be a part of our leadership team and looks forward to the positive impact she will continue to make on our school community.
