Joslyn Caldwell, LMSW-C SSW

Joslyn Caldwell understands the challenges facing our students and works hard to help our students learn appropriate coping skills to handle a wide range of issues, including psychological, financial, health, interpersonal, and substance abuse problems. 

Joslyn Caldwell is a licensed clinical social worker and mental health leader with extensive experience across school, community, and clinical settings. She currently serves as a Special Education School Social Worker with Detroit Public Schools Community District and is the Director of Southeast Human Services PLLC, where she provides telehealth therapy and clinical supervision to LLMSW supervisees. Her professional background spans crisis intervention, outpatient therapy, case management, and school-based mental health services. She has worked as a Mobile Crisis Clinician with the Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network and as a school social worker across K–12 settings, where she has fostered social-emotional learning, trauma-informed practices, and equity for students with disabilities, those involved in foster care, and those experiencing housing insecurity. She is passionate about empowering students, families, and new clinicians while fostering inclusive, supportive environments that promote resilience and long-term success.
