Need-to-KnowATTENDANCE POLICY
Parents/guardians are responsible for making sure that their child is at school by 8:30-3:40 PM Monday through Friday. Parents/guardians are responsible for contacting the office to report an absence for their child each day they are absent. Early pick ups end at 3PM. Adult must show ID and be listed on the pick up list in the main office. Excessive tardiness and absences will not be tolerated. Students who miss 45 days or more during the 24-25 school year will be retained in their current grade (no exceptions). If there are attendance issues the teacher, Attendance Agent and Administration will meet to discuss student’s attendance. Review the Parent Handbook for more information.EMERGENCY CONTACTS
& RELEASE LISTStudents will ONLY be released to individuals listed by the parent(s) for early pick-ups. For safety purposes, parents who wish to add / delete someone from the list must come to the school’s main office. {NOTE: Emergency contacts who are picking up students early MUST be at least 18 years of age and must show their ID.}UPDATE YOUR INFORMATION!It is IMPERATIVE that the school has CURRENT contact, residence, medical, etc. information on file for students in the case of an emergency. If there are any changes, please contact the
school’s main office at 313-866-5500. {NOTE: Please make sure that all students know their phone number. For younger students, this should be written down in their backpack. This is extremely important in the case of an emergency.TEACHER SUPPLY LIST
Please note that all donated supply list items are intended to be shared among the entire class. Items can be drop off on the first day of school. Thank you for your generosity!
