Mrs. Jessica Gunter

Jessica Gunter is a dedicated leader who seeks to transform the lives of families and students. She has a wealth of experience in leadership, curriculum, instruction, and management. In addition, she is best known for her ability to build rapport with staff, students, and parents quickly; maintain a safe, inclusive, and diverse educational community; and for her love of fine arts.

Throughout the past twenty years of her educational career, she has been awarded The Microsoft Legacy Teacher Appreciation Award in 2021, the Teacher Extra Mile Award in 2003, and the Teacher of the Year Award in 2002.

Ms. Gunter credits these successes to her faith in God and her family, in addition to the innovative leaders of the past and present. She is overjoyed with being a phenomenal leader, and it is her second year as the Assistant Principal at Mark Twain.
