DaCory Cooper

Dean Cooper joined the Golightly Education Center team in 2024 as the Dean of Culture. With over 20 years of experience serving in instructional support and school culture roles across Detroit Public Schools Community District, Mr. Cooper brings a deep commitment to urban education. His leadership emphasizes Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and restorative practices as powerful tools for strengthening school culture and fostering positive relationships.
