Shantel Ross

Getting ready to take off✈️

Shantel Ross has been in education for over 25 years, serving in many leadership and instructional coaching capacities. Ms. Ross is a product of Detroit Public Schools. She holds a bachelor's degree in Secondary Math education from Central State University and a master's degree in Middle School Math from Walden University. She has a State of Michigan certificate in Math and Administration.
Ms. Ross exemplifies positive, professional leadership that makes a difference in the lives of the students, the staff and the community. She is always focused on student success. She has led the implementation of new programs and best practices for teaching and learning at the school and district levels in the Detroit Metropolitan Area. Ms. Ross builds positive relationships with all stakeholders. Ms. Ross never hesitates to get in the trenches and do the work that is necessary for student success so that, in the end, all students benefit. She has a strong belief in life-long learning. Ms. Ross is always a teacher at heart and believes that the top contributing factors to student success are the teacher and the instructional leaders.
