Welcome, Mrs. Hickman-Jackson!

As a Counselor, I inspire students to achieve their goals. Counseling is my passion and purpose. Through personalized support, I foster their social and emotional growth, ensuring they feel empowered and equipped to overcome obstacles. Additionally, I recognize the importance of involving families in this journey, providing them with the necessary guidance and resources to support their child's development. Guiding students through the maze of college and career options is another aspect I find deeply fulfilling, helping them navigate on a path that aligns with their passions and aspirations. Collaborating with colleagues at various levels allows me to continuously expand my knowledge and resources, ensuring I can offer the best possible support to my students on their journey to success.

"Winning on Wednesdays" is an engaging video streaming program that has become a beloved tradition at our school. Each week, it features enthusiastic student shout-outs, highlighting their achievements and contributions to the community. Viewers eagerly anticipate the segment where they can nominate and celebrate their favorite teacher or fellow student for their exceptional qualities. The program also serves as a platform for important school announcements, keeping everyone informed and connected. Additionally, the classroom-selected Student of the Week is recognized and celebrated, fostering a culture of appreciation and encouragement. The broadcast concludes with a heartfelt recitation of the school pledge, uniting everyone in a shared commitment to excellence and integrity.
