Detroit Fellows Tutoring Project - Wayne State University
In a continued partnership with Wayne State University, university students (Irvin D. Reid Honors College attendees) provide reading skills to children in kindergarten through second grade for Detroit Public Schools Community District. This is done with one on one support with elementary students.
After-school Tutoring Services (ASP)
After-school tutoring services are provided for second through eighth grades (starting second semester until the end of the school year). Additional support for ELA, MATH, SCIENCE AND SOCIAL STUDIES is provided in smaller groups.This service is supported by Golightly Education Center staff three days a week from 2:45 P.M. until 4:45 P.M.
