Mrs. Princess Rice

Princess Rice is a product of Detroit Public Schools. She received her bachelor in Elementary Education from Central State University. She began her educational career in Ohio School system in 1992. Rice then returned home to Detroit and continued teaching. Her first school she had the pleasure of working in was Hampton Elementary.

Mrs. Rice received her master in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. Princess then left and became a Dean of Students and Curriculum at a Charter School. She attained her Administrative Certifications from Cambridge College.

In 2011, she came back to Detroit Public School as a teacher at Noble Elementary. Rice became the Assistant Principal at Durfee Elementary/Middle School this school year (2018/2019). Mrs. Rice is also married to a very supportive husband and a proud parent to a lovely daughter.
