Ms. LaToyia Webb

Ms. LaToyia Webb is a proud DPS grad from Cass Technical H S. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University in Special Education and a Masters' degree from Wayne State University in Educational Leadership with Special Education and K-12 certifications.

Ms. Webb is serving the students in DPSCD for 23 years. She began her career as a special education teacher for the Emotionally Impaired and Resource Room population for many enjoyable years. She has been in a leadership position for the past 15 years. LaToyia is currently serving as principal at Durfee for the 8th year.

She has a big heart and treats people the way she wants to be treated. She is committed to ensuring that the students in DPSCD experience academic, social and emotional success in an environment that supports teaching and learning. Ms. Webb can truly say that she loves her job because of the students, staff, parents, and community relationships that are formed!
