    Virtual School Student Senate for SY23

    • We are looking for 3 students from each grade band, 1st - 2nd, 3rd-5th, 6th-8th, 9th-12th to serve as Student Senators for School Year 2023.  Student Senators would be members of the School Improvement and Advisory Council and would have a vote in projects, programs, and planning for the remainder of the school year.  

    • We're looking for twelve students total from the Virtual School to participate.  If you'd be interested in serving as a Virtual School Student Senator, please complete the survey and respond to all questions.  We will have Grade Band Elections during the morning meeting on Thursday, December 1, 2022.

    Dear Parents,

    The Virtual School is having our November parent meeting on 11/15/22 from 4-5:30pm. As you know, The Virtual School’s PTA is just beginning, so there is an opportunity to run to be an officer of your choice. Please see the PTA nomination form here: https://tinyurl.com/VS2223PTA1.     • Pretty Brown Girls will occur every Wednesday online at 3:30pm! This is an awesome female mentoring organization that promotes self-esteem, self-love and a national sisterhood! Thank you for all who signed up.

    • Credit Recovery has begun for 11th and 12th grade students! Please be sure to begin working on completing those courses.

    • Grand Valley In Person Campus Visit- 11/16/2022 for 8th grade and 11-12th grade students. Interested students reach out to Ms. Dawson or Ms. Hickman-Jackson.
