The Crockett Midtown High School of Science and Medicine is a safe school with a strong college-going culture located in the heart of the medical center in Midtown. Our focus is on educating the next generation of science and medical professionals. We have a caring staff, great students, great parents and supportive community partners. Over 99% of our students graduate and virtually all of our students are accepted into college or go on to serve in the armed forces of our nation. We offer dual enrollment, advanced placement courses and the only health related career technical education program in the city. We boost a student to technology ratio of 1:1. We have an onsite health clinic, robotics, and offer externship opportunities for our students. Our staff works hard everyday to ensure that our students are prepared to be successful.

Commitment to College Success
The high school provides a college preparatory curriculum allowing students to explore college courses, work at internships and engage in community service projects.
The school environment will be devoted to guiding students toward discovering their career potential while visualizing themselves as college graduates. The commitment to college success for all students is supported by staff members and a Guidance Counselor and College Transition Advisor who assist students with college matching, applications, scholarships, financial aid and provide support once students are enrolled in college.Location
Located in a safe area with accessible bus routes, the school is housed in the former Crockett Career and Technical Center building in the heart of the Detroit Medical Center (DMC), the largest health care provider in Southeast Michigan. Also in the area are Wayne State University School of Medicine, Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute, the Kresge Eye Institute and other specialized facilities and laboratory service providers.
We are located on the corner of Mack Ave off of I-75.
