Kenneth "Coach" Flowers
Kenneth Flowers a.k.a. Coach Flowers is a product of Detroit Public Schools. He attended Coleman A. Young elementary; Cervany Middle, and then graduated from Detroit Redford High. Coach Flowers earned an Associate of Arts degree from Cerro Coso Community College in Ridgecrest, California. He later returned to Michigan to attend Wayne State University, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with a major in Physical Education and a minor in Health.
Coach Flowers has over 16 years of classroom experience working as a Physical Education and Health teacher. Coach Flowers transitioned from the classroom into administration, where he currently holds the position as the Dean of Culture and the Athletic Director and Head Boys Basketball Coach. Coach Flowers led his team to back-to-back MHSAA Division 2 State Championship games in 2015 and 2016, winning the 2016 title and the schools first ever state championship in any sport.
Coach Flowers works diligently to develop well-round students while leading the Henry Ford Trojans to the state championships! GO TROJANS!!!
