Mrs. Tonie Stokes

Tonie Stokes is originally from Memphis, Tennessee and she holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Tennessee State University in Architectural Engineering, and a Master of Arts Degree from University of Phoenix in Secondary Mathematic Education. Mrs. Stokes holds a Michigan Professional Certification in Secondary Mathematics 6-12 and a Michigan School Administrator K-12 certification. She has over 20 years of educational experience in public and charter schools.  Mrs. Stokes has delivered mathematics and engineering instruction in Inkster Public Schools, Oak Park Public Schools, Dallas and Irving Independent School Districts (Texas), Detroit Public Schools and Lead Teacher, Assistant Principal/ Director at Academy of Oak Park and Michigan Charter Schools.  Most recently, Mrs. Stokes served as Project Lead for Way- Introduction to Engineering Design Teacher at Cass Technical High School, prior to her arrival as Nolan’s assistant principal.
