Ms. Norfleet

My name is Davonte' Norfleet. I am a proud DPSCD alumni, having graduated from Martin L. King Jr. High School. I am also a mom of three young adults and have a deep passion for working with people and watching them grow. My educational journey began in 2000 when I graduated from Wayne County Community College, followed by earning my undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan.

I’ve had the privilege of working in the school system as a teacher (grades 3-8) and as an instructional coach. This experience led me to pursue and complete my Master's degree with a concentration in Special Education. I later earned my Education Specialist degree in Leadership, and for the past several years, I’ve been dedicated to roles in leadership.

I am incredibly excited about joining the staff, families, and community at Bethune Elementary School. I look forward to an amazing school year and many more to come.
