Ms. Nicole Upshaw

My interest stems from my love for Detroit and Detroit Public Schools Community District. I am a product of Detroit Public Schools and its success is personal to me. I have strong beliefs that the key to its success lies in the connection between the parent, the community, the school and the student, thereby creating a network.

Dean Upshaw is trained in nonviolent Crisis Prevention (CPI), Restorative Practices, Calm Classroom, and was a teacher and Behavioral Specialist with Detroit Public Schools Community District and has been with the District for 20 years.
