Dear Edison Families,

As we embark on another exciting school year, I am thrilled to introduce myself once again as your principal, now entering my third year at Edison. Over the past two years, our school has continued to rise and flourish, and I am incredibly proud of the progress we have made together.

Under my leadership, Edison has set ambitious goals, including our collective aim to achieve an A on our school report card. This goal reflects our commitment to academic excellence, ensuring that each of our scholars is well-prepared for a bright and successful future.

One of the key drivers of our success has been the positive climate and culture we have fostered within our school community. Thanks to your continued support and engagement, we have seen a remarkable 17% increase in parent involvement, as highlighted by our recent family surveys. This growth is a testament to the strong partnership between our school and families, and it is something we will continue to nurture.

This year, I am excited about launching the Principal's Porch—a bi-weekly virtual meeting where I will be available to listen to your ideas, concerns, and suggestions. These informal meetings will be a valuable opportunity for us to collaborate and ensure that Edison remains on the path of continuous improvement.

I am looking forward to another year of working closely with all of you to make Edison the best it can be. Together, we will continue to strive for excellence and create an environment where every student can thrive.
