Mrs. Semekia Talton

Semekia Talton (Ms. T.) is the Assistant Principal at DIA and a proud graduate of Michigan State University. Currently, she is pursuing an Education Specialist degree at the University of Michigan, Flint. Semekia received a great start in education by attending Detroit Public Schools from kindergarten through 3rd grade and is thrilled to return to her first home to serve the Detroit community. With a deep passion for empowering young women at DIA, she strongly believes that when they rise, everyone rises!
