Principal Laura Jawor has been in the district since 1994.  She began her career as an elementary school teacher and moved up the “ranks” to administration.  She worked as a teacher, an Instructional Specialist, and an Assistant Principal prior to becoming the Principal at Charles Wright.  She took the "reigns" at Charles Wright Academy as the Principal in the Fall of 2017.  Principal Jawor received her Teaching Certificate and bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University.  She acquired her Early Childhood Endorsement and master’s degree from Madonna University.  She continues her professional growth through courses, workshops, and online learning. She knows the importance of continuing to improve her skills as an educator and as a leader.  She has dedicated her life to instilling the importance and love of education in the children she serves.  Principal Jawor believes that she will always be a teacher at heart.  She loves what she does at Charles Wright, and she truly believes in the district's motto “Students Rise, We All Rise."
