Mrs. Buckingham is proud to serve as a 1st grade teacher at Gardner Elementary. She began her teaching career in 2019 and has worked extensively with both kindergarten and 1st grade students. Her focus is on creating an engaging and inclusive classroom where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to grow. One of the unique qualities Mrs. Buckingham brings to teaching is her ability to combine education with design thinking and technology integration. She has created interactive and culturally responsive geography lessons for young learners using tools such as Google Earth and live camera feeds from zoos around the world. By weaving creativity and innovation into her instruction, she helps students connect personally with their learning and develop curiosity about the world around them. Mrs. Buckingham is passionate about building strong foundations for lifelong learning and is committed to ensuring her students feel seen, celebrated, and empowered every day.
