Mrs. Simone Gardner-Wimbley

Simone Gardner-Wimbley holds an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Oakland University, a Master's degree in Elementary & Secondary Leadership from Grand Valley University, and a Bachelor's degree in Special Education from Marygrove College. Mrs. Gardner- Wimbley also holds professional educator certifications in Elementary & Secondary School Administrator (ES), Art Education (LX), and Learning Disabilities (SM).

Mrs. Gardner- Wimbley continues to look for ways to grow as a leader and aims to make decisions that are in the best interest of Drew's staff and students. She has over 20 plus years of leadership experience and has served in several capacities such as Special Education Teacher (K-8), Special Education Director, Assistant Principal, and Principal (K-8). She is a dedicated lifelong learner and is excited to join the Drew Family. Her vision is to serve Drew and the community by providing a supportive climate and culture in hopes of leaving a lasting and positive impact. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and traveling.
