Greetings Parents and Visitors,

I am excited to continue serving as Principal of Keidan Special Education Center. I am truly honored and humbled to be afforded such an opportunity to continue working with exceptional students at Keidan.

I joined DPSCD as an Assistant Principal in 2018 at Keidan where I maintained that position for two years. I was then promoted to Principal in 2020. Prior to joining DPSCD, I worked in charter schools and at Ann Arbor Public Schools. My entire educational career is in the area of Special Education. I worked as a Resource Room teacher, Special Education Coordinator, and a Special Education Teacher Consultant.

I love to spend my past time with family, traveling, and reading romance novels. I make it a priority to balance my personal and professional life so that I can be an effective leader for the students and staff at Keidan. I am excited to enter this school year with commitment and enthusiasm. My goal is not to allow anything to limit our students from continuing to be exceptional students.

I received my Bachelor of Arts from Wayne State University, Masters of Arts in Special Education from the University of Phoenix, Education Specialist in School Leadership from Oakland University, and Special Education Supervisor and Director's Approval from Eastern Michigan University. I am looking forward to staff providing consistent collaboration and communication with students and parents in an effort to foster positive relationships. It is my belief that Keidan staff will continue to properly plan for instruction both academically and socially to offer our students a quality education. We will work together to ensure we are putting our students first in every area of their academic career here at Keidan. This year will be a great year of learning at Keidan.
