Ms. Rachael DuBose

Rachael DuBose works at Turning Point Academy as the new nurse for the facility. Although Rachael is new to Turning Point, she is not new to the nursing community. She has been a nurse for 10 years now. She is the mother of two amazing boys. Her greatest role is being a grandmother to her 3 grandchildren. She is an active community worker with Young Women Christian Council and is a mentor to many young ladies in her church and community. Rachael has been singing at school concerts and church events since she was 5 years old and is still actively used today. She has shared the stage with a variety of gospel artists. She loves to travel, spend time with her family and helping or encouraging others.

Rachael obtained her Associates in Science at Wayne County Community College in 2005. She completed her LPN nursing diploma at Everest Institute in Southfield in 2014. She has done bedside nursing since 2015 with experience in wound care, IV antibiotic therapy, caring for patients on ventilators, pediatric nursing, case management and some home care.  She has experience in behavioral health working at Stonecrest Psychiatric Hospital, which she enjoyed immensely. She currently works with Priority Health / Corewell Health as a Case Manager for the critically ill and behavioral health community.

A fun fact about Rachael is she enjoys traveling and meeting new people and works as a Flight Attendant for one of the major airlines on weekends.
