    Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s): On Wednesday, April 9, 2025, and Thursday, April 10, 2025, Cass Tech High School will be administering Mandatory State Exams to all 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students. The exams measure what students know and have mastered according to the high school content standards. During the administration of this exam period, students should adhere to the schedule below. Testing rooms will close at 8:00 am. Late students will not be admitted to their assigned testing room. We encourage all testing students to get a good night’s sleep and eat a healthy breakfast.

    Testers Report at 7:30 am

    ***10th and 11th grade students report to school to test. 

    All 10th (PSAT 10) and 11th (SAT with Essay) grade students. 

    Thursday, April 10, 2025 

    Testers Report at 7:30 am 

    ***9th and 11th grade students report to school to test. 

    All 9th (PSAT 9) and 11th (ACT/Workkeys) grade students. 

     

    Testing is expected to conclude at 12:00 pm, and all students will report to their 1st hour class at 12:00 PM. Below is the Bell Schedule for October 24th and October 25th:

     

    Wednesday 4/9/2025

    1. 1:05 pm -1:15 pm

    2. 1:20 pm -1:35 pm

    3. 1:40 pm -1:55 pm

    4. 2:00 pm – 2:15 pm 

    5. 2:20 pm – 2:35 pm 

    6. 2:40 pm - 2:55 pm 

    7. 3:00 pm – 3:20 pm 

     

    Thursday 4/10/2025

    1. 12:05 pm -12:25 pm

    2. 12:30 pm -12:55 pm

    3. 1:00 pm -1:25 pm

    4. 1:30 pm -1:55 pm

    5. 2:00 pm – 2:25 pm 

    6. 2:40 pm - 2:55 pm 

    7. 3:00 pm – 3:20 pm 

     

    Students must bring the following items: a calculator, #2 pencils, picture ID and a healthy snack. Parents, please be reminded that electronic devices (cell phones, tablets, apple watches, etc.) are prohibited in the testing rooms and during breaks. If a cell phone or any electronic device sounds during testing, the scores for all students in that room may be thrown out.
