Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s):

On, Wednesday, April 10, 2024, and Thursday, April 11, 2024, Cass Technical High School will be administering Mandatory State Exams to all 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students. The exams measure what students know and have mastered according to the high school content standards.

During the administration of this exam period, students should adhere to the schedule below. Testing rooms will close at 8:00 am. Late students will not be admitted to their assigned testing room. We encourage all testing students to get a good night’s sleep and eat a healthy breakfast.

Wednesday, April 10, 2024- 7:30 a.m.	All 10th (PSAT 10) and 11th (SAT) grade students.
Thursday, April 11, 2024- 7:30 a.m.	All 9th (PSAT 9) and 11th (ACT/Workkeys) grade students.

Students who have a district laptop are REQUIRED to bring it to school on their assigned test day. Students who have a personal laptop can bring their own device on their assigned test day; ACT Workkeys does not require an electronic device. Students can also bring the following items: calculator, #2 pencils, picture ID and a healthy snack.

Parents, please be reminded that electronic devices (cell phones, tablets, apple watches, etc.) are prohibited in the testing rooms and during breaks. If a cell phone or any electronic device sounds during testing, the scores for all students in that room may be thrown out.

On Wednesday, April 10, 2024, 10th and 11th grade students will report at 7:30 a.m.

On Thursday, April 11, 2024, 9th and 11th grade students will report at 7:30 a.m.

There will be no early dismissal on both testing days, students will attend their daily class schedule after testing at 1:00 p.m., and end at 3:20 p.m.
