The inaugural Pretty Brown Girl (PBG) Career Summit, powered by Ford, took place last Friday at the Ford Conference Center, gathering young women of color for a day of empowerment and career development. The event featured workshops on personal branding, financial literacy, and STEM careers, led by industry professionals and women of color. Keynote speakers from Ford shared inspiring personal journeys, while a power luncheon offered valuable advice on navigating corporate spaces. Attendees also participated in a career fair with opportunities for internships and mentoring. The summit concluded with a celebration of the participants’ achievements, marking the event as a transformative experience that will likely become an annual tradition.
