Financial Literacy

🚗💰 General Motors Brings Financial Literacy & Real-World Experience to Cass Tech!

Cass Tech students got a firsthand lesson in financial literacy as General Motors (GM) made a special visit to the school, combining money management education with a real-world example—buying a car.

GM representatives spoke to students about the importance of budgeting, credit scores, interest rates, and smart financing decisions when purchasing a vehicle. To make the lesson even more interactive, they brought a lineup of their latest vehicles, parking them right in front of the school. This gave students the chance to explore the cars up close, ask questions about pricing and financing, and see how financial literacy applies to major life purchases.

By bridging the gap between education and real-world application, GM provided students with invaluable knowledge that will help them make informed financial decisions in the future.
